SLS' 0.5 M EDTA (pH 8.0) is an aqueous solution prepared by dissolving Na2EDTA-2H2O in distilled deionized nuclease-free water and adjusting the pH to 8.0. This sterile filtered solution is suitable for biochemistry or molecular biology applications requiring a chelator of divalent metal ions and is RNase-free.
